Reviews
I always pass by but have never gone in. The entrance makes it seems small but the actual restaurant is spacious and has a really relaxing unpretentious yet upscale vibe. The pork jowl is so tender and I loved the mocktails. The service is also great everyone is so nice and accommodating. Definitely coming back!!
Nice Thai authentic food! Recommended
Good service.
Just one thing about the space. Maybe a little too tight for some table. I wish I could have gotten a better table. Where I was, it was very cold.
Absolutely thrilled with my Thai dining experience! The umami-packed beef curry was a symphony of spices, leaving a lingering, satisfying taste that I can't get enough of. The fried branzino was a crispy delight, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. And let's not forget the papaya salad – a refreshing and appetizing balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy notes. The Thai tea lava cake was a revelation, combining the rich flavors of Thai tea with a delightful smooth lava texture – a must-try for sweet lover. This place has truly mastered the art of Thai cuisine, earning every bit of its 5-star rating!
Solid sit down Thai in an area that is dominated by local Mexican restaurants. Tong definitely has some Thai dishes that you’re not familiar with and I encourage you to try them. We had 4 dishes that were all tasty and will def return again when I’m not in the mood for the excellent tacos places in the area.
New favourite Thai place!
Literally stumbled upon this place while walking in the neighbourhood but so glad we tried it out!
The Chicken Drunken Noodle is SO GOOD 🤌🏻 We also got the Hoy Jor and the Crab Fried Rice. Both you can’t go wrong with! The Hor Joy comes with this heavenly plum sauce - a must try!
We couldn’t finish everything so we took it home, but everything tasted equally as good the next day after microwaving!!
We got complimentary Taro Fritter and gosh it’s so good. The fact that they have a section for imported Asian Beer just adds 10 points. Stop by this jewel when you have a second!
The food here was a nice experience. It didn’t hit me as Michelin Star level but I did enjoy the taste of the food and would recommend to others.
I really wanted to like this place. They are cold and selectively attentive. When I arrived there were only a table of 3 sitting and before I could take off my coat I was immediately told there’s an hour and half stay limit. Well it’s just me and my 6 year old daughter so no problem. They placed us all the way in the back next to an exit door in which one of the servers kept going in and out of it’s 34 degrees outside with high wind- not the best seat especially in an empty restaurant. I asked to change my seat- they didn’t. Never checked in once but walked past my table multiple times to check on the other table. They brought our food out and after a good 20 minutes eating they told me they forgot to bring a key ingredient out. I didn’t finish my meal. Asked for a to go box, paid the check and quickly left. I really didn’t want to tip but I couldn’t get myself to. I wouldn’t return even if it wasn’t out of my pocket.
First of all, it’s a gorgeous modern industrial space. The servers were so sweet- they even gave us free shots at the end of the night. The cocktails are deliciously high quality, some of the best in Bushwick for sure. The Thai food was authentic, spicy, and super flavorful. I highly recommend the oysters and octopus.
